Durdrain combined kerb and drainage installed at Merseyside Police HQ in Liverpool

Completed in 2021, this Willmott Dixon project is an excellent example of modern, efficient and sustainable construction. Merseyside Police’s Flagship base has been designed to allow for a more flexible and efficient operation providing significant savings on running costs.

£33.4 million of the project spend has been with local suppliers and contractors which not only contributes to the region’s economy but also reduces the environmental impact and carbon footprint.

Sustainability was key within the overall design and Duradrain was chosen as a low cost, low carbon, sustainable surface water drainage solution for the site. Installed along the kerb lines, parking bays and alongside the many electric charging points, Duradrain has provided a simple system of drainage combined within a standard HB2 profile kerb edge.
