Skilts School – Birmingham

When the Skilts School relocated from Redditch to a purpose built new school in Birmingham the contractor, Balfour Beatty, decided to use DuraChannel in the car park and playground areas. The channel is monolithic which means the gratings cannot be removed and so are perfect for the school environment. They are also lightweight and are manufactured from 88% recycled content such as polymeric single use bottles, caps and closures preventing them from entering landfill or the oceans. What a great message for the adults of tomorrow!
