Duradrain Kerbfix installed at Tim Hortons’ biggest UK drive-thru

We recently installed Duradrain at the UK’s largest drive-thru of Canadian donut chain Tim Hortons, in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.

The installation of Duradrain has helped towards Tim Horton’s sustainability strategy, in which it claims to have “an obligation to address climate change head on”. This includes, by 2030, pledging to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and “develop, formalize and incorporate green building standards into new build and remodelled restaurants.”

It also comes following the commissioning by Trafford Council of consultants Arup, Groundwork Siemens to undertake research to ascertain how Trafford Park can “address the challenges of net-zero” through projects designed make it “a beacon for green business and a catalyst for sustainable green jobs.”

The project was delivered by HAURATON, an ECONPRO partner and official stockist, who supply Duradrain Kerbfix within their branded sustainable range of linear drainage solutions. With over 65 years of experience in manufacture, design and distribution, they lead and support projects from design through to completion.
